Murcedes Hooks, MPH, is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hooks 3-Dimensional Investments, bringing together her passion for community wellness, real estate development, and elevated hospitality experiences. Her long-standing vision has been to develop a world-class, resort-style destination that seamlessly integrates luxury living with medical spa, holistic wellness, and hospitality offerings.

Today, that vision is taking shape through the company’s flagship venture, Sunset Bay Boutique Condominiums & Resort—an 8.03-acre ultra-luxury oceanfront development located in the prestigious enclave of Spotts, Grand Cayman. This thoughtfully master-planned community is designed to maximize panoramic ocean views while delivering an exceptional standard of privacy, sophistication, and resort-style living. Owners and resort guests will have access to world-class medical spa and holistic wellness facilities as part of the development’s broader commitment to luxury, health, and well-being.

Murcedes’ academic background reflects her longstanding commitment to healthcare, public service, and community wellness. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree at Washington University of Health and Science School of Medicine. She earned a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in Public Health from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Biology (Pre-Med) from Langston University.

To further position her vision for success, Murcedes expanded her professional experience into real estate development and project management, gaining exposure to multifamily and residential development, construction coordination, property operations, due diligence, investor engagement, and project execution. Her project experience includes involvement with developments representing more than 1,200 residential units and nearly $300 million in aggregate project value.

In 2021, Murcedes founded Hooks 3-Dimensional Investments to provide premier real estate development and strategic consulting services. Under her leadership, the company is focused on creating distinctive luxury real estate investments and world-class hospitality experiences that integrate thoughtful development, sophisticated design, community impact, and wellness-centered living.

Through Sunset Bay, Murcedes is bringing these disciplines together to create a destination that represents the intersection of luxury real estate, hospitality, wellness, and community-focused development.

Leadership & Experience

Wil Steward has 40 years of experience in the profession of architecture. As well as principal of his own firm in Vancouver, he worked internationally as a senior employee of several major Canadian firms and for the past 29 years in the Cayman Islands, becoming managing director in 2008.

William is a member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, the Architectural Institute of British Columbia (Reg. #1523), and the Institute of Cayman Islands Architects (Founding member #002).

Daniel joined Chalmers Gibbs in 2001, coming from a background of working on commercial, industrial, institutional and residential projects in large architectural practices in Ireland and Australia.

In his 18 years in Cayman he has been responsible for drawing production and design coordination for many large and complex commercial, institutional and residential buildings. A key component of his role is coordination between the various consultants on a project to ensure client needs are incorporated in the design.

He has strong on-island contract administration experience, a pragmatic approach to the design process and 18 years’ experience navigating projects through the often-demanding permitting process in Cayman.

Luiza Dawson has 17 years of international experience, working in the field of architecture in Brazil, the United Kingdom and the Cayman Islands.

She is experienced in the application of building and life safety codes, construction administration, architectural detailing and all facets of architectural drawing production.

Sean first joined Chalmers Gibbs in 2007 prior to completing his diploma at Mohawk College in Ontario, Canada.

His specialties include BIM drawing, production and field administration. He has strong on-island contract administration experience gained from a variety of roles in both design and construction companies. He has currently been leading the firm’s BIM software implementation for production.

Alejandra leads the architectural design and works closely with clients, ensuring that each project is shaped through attentive listening, clear communication, and a strong understanding of their vision and needs.

Her design approach focuses on creating spaces that feel natural, functional, and connected to their surroundings.

Originally from Honduras and based in the Cayman Islands for the past 29 years, he has built a solid reputation for practical problem-solving, reliable execution, and a deep understanding of electrical, plumbing, and general construction.
